A well-versed entrepreneur, Harlan has blah blah blah for decades. At some point during the 1980s, he started using and submitting bug fixes and portability improvements to the Network Time Protocol codebase. He has worked directly with NTP since 1992, and in 1996 became NTP’s Project Manager and Release Engineer. In 2011 he created Network Time Foundation to provide bring together and nurture collaborative Open Source projects that focus on Network Time.
The first project to join was, of course, the NTP Project. Shortly thereafter the PTPd, RADclock and Linux PTP projects joined, followed by NTF's General Timestamp API Project, the Ntimed Project, the libptpmgmt Project, the Khronos Project, and several SyncE projects. He has been active in open-source communities since 1976.

My dream is a Los Angeles where universal basic mobility is realized by a seamless network that eliminates barriers to meeting needs and pursuing desires. I became interested in Transportation after returning to Los Angeles following six months living in Birmingham, UK. I traveled all over Europe with no car, but had trouble traveling a few miles in Los Angeles. When I found out my IT job was being eliminated, I returned to UCLA for a Master's in Transportation Planning. After a decade in non-profit health and human services, I now work as a regional service planner, fine-tuning bus and microtransit service to meet the needs of transit-dependent Angelenos, while working towards a world-class transportation system that is a first choice, not just something for people without choices.
olaph considers himself to be extremely lucky to have gotten involved with open source software, and more specifically the OpenStack project somewhere around the Essex release. As a terrible developer, he is grateful for the fact that administrators and operators are still required! olaph is always looking for an excuse to play putt-putt or pinball.

Hey there, I'm Clark Wang, a 16-year-old full-stack web developer and AI researcher.
Hazel spends her days working on building out teams of humans as well as the infrastructure, systems, automation, and tooling to make life better for others. She’s worked at a variety of companies, across a wide range of tech, and knows that the hardest problems to solve are the social ones. Hazel currently serves as a Director on the board of the Haskell Foundation, as a Fellow of the Nivenly Foundation, and is fondly known as the Infrastructure Witch of Hachyderm (a popular Mastodon instance). She also created the first official Haskell “setup” Github Action and helped turn it into an active community-maintained project. She enjoys speaking at conferences and podcasts, mentoring others, and sharing what she’s learned with the world.

Erik Wessel is a graduate student and PhD candidate at the Department of Physics at the University of Arizona. He works in the numerical relativity group of Professor Vasileios Paschalidis. He has received NASA's FINESST fellowship to support his work on developing a neutrino-transport code for modeling binary neutron star mergers. Erik is the lead author on two publications investigating the potential for instabilities in massive accretion disks to produce gravitational wave signals detectable by next generation gravitational wave observatories. He received a Bachelor of Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he also worked on numerical relativity with Dr. Eliu Huerta as part of the LIGO scientific collaboration. Prior to that, Erik worked on multiple software development projects as a student employee and NASA Space Grant Intern at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Nate Willis is a typeface designer and consultant who has been an active member of the free-software community for longer than he cares to remember. He currently develops open-source fonts, works on type-related free-software projects, and advocates for open standards in font development and publishing. At least, by day. By night, he works with the libre graphics community and helps organize Texas Linux Fest, a community open-source event in Texas.
In years past, he wrote and edited news about Linux, free software, and open source. Whatever time is left he spends hacking around in automotive computing.
Mark Wong is a Software Development Engineer at EDB and is a PostgreSQL Major Contributor. He first introduced himself to the PostgreSQL community in 2003 with open source benchmarking kits and performance data. Since then, he has continued to contribute to various aspects of the community such as a Google Summer of Code mentor, Conference Organizer, Portland PostgreSQL Users Group Co-Organizer, PostgreSQL Fundraising Group Member, and a Director on the Board of the United States PostgreSQL.
Gülçin started working with Postgres at a startup company in 2012 and was amazed at how powerful Postgres truly is! Over the years, she has actively contributed to the Postgres community by organizing conferences, delivering talks, and engaging as a dedicated community member. In recognition of her commitment, Gülçin was elected to the PostgreSQL Europe Board in 2017.
Fueled by her passion for PostgreSQL automation and cloud technologies, Gülçin took on the role of Cloud Services Manager and led the cloud development efforts at 2ndQuadrant, which was later acquired by EDB in 2020. Committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, she is an integral part of Postgres Women and the PostgreSQL Europe Diversity Committee, advocating for increased representation of women and all underrepresented people in tech.
